Day 1

Pick-up from Airport /Railway Station at Siliguri – Transfer to your Homestay at Gorubathan. A 2 hours journey from the Siliguri, a foothill station with a pleasant weather through out the year. Settled in the hilly banks of the Chel river, this region has a history of Lepcha Kingdom, who had built the Dalim Fort. Currently it is a tourist attraction and can be reached with a short trekking route. Stay and Food at the Homestay, relax for the day and explore the locality in the evening.

Day 2

Checkout after breakfast to your next stop at Pedong. A beautiful village close to the Westbengal and Sikkim Border. Its one of the oldest settlements in the region and has many tales from history to tell. Interaction with the elderly in the region could dig out quite interesting facts about the place. Damsang Fort and a few popular view points could be visited during your stay here.

Day 3

Checkout after after breakfast to head for the iconic journey through the famous ‘old silk route’ . Immerse yourself in the beauty, adventure and history this route has to say. Check-in during lunch into your Homestay at Padamchen, where you can spend a cozy evening by the bonfire and relish a barbeque before your dinner.

Day 4

Checkout after breakfast for your next destination of Gangtok. Checkin at lunch time at your homestay here, so that you can utilize the second half of the day for a sight seeing tour of the Gangtok city. Monasteries, Rope Way, Handicraft museum, local markets, stroll at the MG Marg, there is so much to do here. Gangtok is quite a happening city for the night, being a destination for Casinos. You may also try out the various pubs or cafes in the city.

Day 5

Checkout from the homestay after breakfast and head on to your drop at Siliguri Airport or the Railway station.
