Originally built in 1984 as a vintage estate, Linkha Homestay was transformed by Mr. Ananda Dewan into a welcoming accommodation. It is located approximately 2 km from Darjeeling, 17 km from Lamahatta, and 21 km from Takdah, in Alubari-Phulbari on TN Road, Darjeeling. Visitors can enjoy views of hills like Tiger Hill, Dawaipani, Rangaroong, and Takdah Tea Estate. The homestay offers traditional Gorkhali food made with fresh, organic ingredients from the farm. Named after the Dewan tribe, Linkha seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings in the TAKDAH Tea Estate, just a 30-minute drive from Darjeeling’s city center. Guests can stay in one of four tastefully decorated rooms that provide stunning views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range. Activities include idyllic walks, picking fresh vegetables from the farm, engaging with village residents, and taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery, all of which ensure a rejuvenating experience.
